He's soon to turn 60. He's got a new job, with a long title. And he's about to get a new wife.

George Burrell, a former City Councilman and Mayor Street's longtime political adviser, is getting hitched this spring to Janis Pierce, currently the city's deputy representative.
Burrell, now the executive vice president and general counsel for PRWT Services, proposed Oct. 19. While eating a cheesesteak. In his kitchen.
Asked what brought the pair together - Pierce previously worked at the airport while Burrell was Street's secretary of external affairs - Burrell said: "Faith. A shared faith."

"A shared faith???" In who? Satan? They both conducted themselves horribly as city officials. She was a nasty, lying fraud, he was the Godfather of No-Bid Contracts and they're both arrogant bullies. I pray they don't breed.

Please. He's been dating her for years. It's more like a shared faith that anyone would still have either one of them.

George:
You and I have been the best of friends and also relatives for many years. We have a lot of good memories about family, school and some things I will not mention.
Denise and I want you and Janis to be happy for the rest of your lives and keep up the good work. Don't look back.
Your Friend
Earl
