But truth be told, the first TV debate between Mike and Al has been scheduled - and it will occur this Saturday, on CBS 3, at 7:30 p.m.
So think about trading in those reservations at El Vez, Alma De Cuba and the Prime Rib for Chinese takeout.
I mean, really, who would want to miss this?

TO HOST FIRST TELEVISED NUTTER-TAUBENBERGER DEBATE
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20 7:30 PM
Philadelphia, October 17, 2007 – CBS 3, The League of Women Voters and the Committee of Seventy will host the first televised debate between Philadelphia Mayoral Candidates Michael Nutter (Democrat) and Al Taubenberger (Republican) this Saturday, October 20, 7:30 to 8 p.m.* on CBS 3. The debate will also air Sunday, October 21, 8: 30 a.m. on CBS 3 and again Sunday at 11 a.m. on Channel 3’s sister station, The CW Philly 57.
CBS 3 Anchor Larry Mendte will moderate the session which will be videotaped at the new CBS 3 Broadcast Center at 1555 Hamilton Street in Philadelphia at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Each of the candidates will have the opportunity to both respond to questions about issues confronting the city of Philadelphia and present their own closing statements. Viewers can also submit questions to the candidates in advance by logging on to www.cbs3.com.
