Another great YouTube moment, posted first over at Metropolis. Democratic traffic court nominee Willie Singletary - he of the suspended license and $11,000 in moving violation fines - appeals to a crowd of bikers for their financial support. Singletary pretty much comes right out and tells them he'll be their friend if he's elected and they find themselves in his courtroom.

Again, more of what is wrong with the city...all this reform talk with Nutter goes out the door if this guy is elected, but many will go into the booth and just hit "D" and walk out. You get what you asked for...

Voter's outside Philadelphia in the last two year's used their heads and not the favors when they voted out of office, a state supreme court justice, two very powerful Harriscurg legislator's, and many judges sweated for the retention YES. Use your head in the booth in November, do not listen to hacks on the poll corners, they only have their interest at heart. Let's join the other sensible voter's outside our city limits, and vote un-worthy incumbnent's out. "We are not sheep".

What I am upset about is why the newspapers didn't print this guys record before the election. Pehaps he used the money he raised to pay off the Inquirer to hold the story until after?

No, this was not posted first at Metropolis, it was produced back in April for the blog www.malcolmxpark.org where it was posted first. The Inquirer also failed to make the correct attribution to my blog in the article. It's a shame my original coverage of this story isn't being recognized.
