Wow. There is an over the hill, out of touch group for you. This group hardly represents much progressive thinking on the development of the city.

Margaret Motheral:

I think the new zoning crew should reopen and investigate what happened and is sill happenning at the corner of Devon and Sydney in East Mt Airy near Sedgwick train station, R7. This is a huge case of environmental injustice and crimes, violation of the civil rights of the neighbors and bad planning and contempt and harm done to a street and area that held all the promises of sustainable building/ transportation -connected building, protection of the watershed and good use of open space that was very needed and desired in the area. Clean up of a long history of environmental contaminates that were ignored, until one person ended up in the hospital and displaced from her home. Even then, proper protocol for clean up was not followed. The environmental and zoning crimes are blantant and have caused great harm, but can still be rectified. Some of the current Council members, the old zoning board and some Planning sectors seem to believe they are above Federal environmental law and that it perfectly okay to ruin adjacent neighbors for their friend's building projects, and commit environmental injustices. Serious checks and balances need to be put in place on the zoning "powers" of councilmembers, especially those who traditionally seem to attract staff that always end up in trouble over real estate matters.

wow! Joe Manko from Lower Merion? So busy so fast. So like Hillary Clinton when she moved from Arkansas to DC to New York! Who knew?

Well, he likes eminent domain so he should be great, eh?

How is Joe on the Barnes?

Will he be running for offic in Philly soon? Or is this just the appointed way of life?

Good luck to y'all
