General manager Max Shapiro has been charged with creating some fancy drinks to serve at Zahav's bar.
In this piece by Inquirer video producer Steven Benjamin -- shot in Shapiro's "test bar" (Xochitl in Society Hill) -- he demonstrates the making of three of them. The "almond milk" in the drink called "Milk and Honey" consists of ground, blanched almonds, water and salt.

Definetly original - I look forward to trying the cocktails, but two constructive criticisms:
1.) Lemonnana sounds like it is a combination of lemon and banana. Since it has lemon verbena how 'bout a lemonena? Given the restaurant's theme maybe you could even get away with calling it a mint jewlep?
2.) I'm not sure if the intent was to refer to the six districts of Israel with the 6th borough, but it reminds me of the moniker Philly was given by the New York press and it's not really flattering (in my opinion).

How about an actualy Israeli beer? It looks as if you are serving a nice variety of beer. Even as a fan of sampling beers of the world, I've never tasted an Israeli beer. There must be something to offer.

The cocktails look and sound enticing, especially for a hot summer evening in Society Hill. One thing, I hate the name or moniker of 6th Borough. It is a knock on Philly by New Yawkers, as you know. So why would you name a drink on your menu that is derogatory to our wonderful city? Since you want to open another (hopefully successful) business here in Philly, I would maybe come up with a name more approprite for your area or the city's culture.
How about the "Constitution", or maybe considering your location in Society Hill...the "Hilltopper". Just get rid of the 6th Borough name.

To address the original post, the Hebrew word for mint is "nana".

I'm thinking you should add Black Label, or maybe the Beast.
