US Airways reports first-quarter profit

US Airways reported a $66 million first-quarter profit this morning. Of more interest to passengers: The airline announced that it would hire more airport employees and take other steps to improve the US Airways "experience." Of course they made a profit. I have to go to Charlotte next week. A roundtrip flight between hubs was $1400+. How is that even possible?

Maybe they will start stocking more than 20 box lunches/snacks for sale on a sold out flight. It really p----- off the flight attendants when the are being harrased after selling out by the time they reach the 10th row. Not to mention the potential customers they can't sell product to...butthey have tons of applications for their credit cards....USAIR just doesn't get it.
