Over the years I have been a proud user of the airlines. I have flown with confidence and pride albeit the security measures created havoc with my schedule and routines.
I have followed all the rules and done exactly what was expected of me. However, I have finally reached the end of my rope. I will no longer be a passenger on the airlines but will either drive or take trains/buses. I will not be a pawn in the actions of a few airlines to create total discomfort in my life.
When I heard that I could no longer pack more than one suitcase for a trip, that was it!!!! If I go on vacation, I like to take both leisure and dress clothes and I like to have things with me that make the vacation extra special. By limiting my luggage, the airline has changed my trip and I no longer want to make it.
I will cruise, I will take trains and/or buses, but I will not fly. It has become a hassle and it is time that air travel is put to rest.
I hope that was the objective of United Airlines and US Airways because they finally succeeded.
Goodbye United! So long US Airways! Maybe one day we will meet again.
