The Pillow Fundraiser.

Attended the InLiquid Art & Furniture Experience at the downtown Dane Decor at 315 Arch Street last night.

I met Kim Senior and we looked around at the pillows. There were some interesting ones. I thought to myself how that I had definitely taken a midwest approach to mine.

We decided to step out and get a bit to eat. We ended up at
La laconda del Ghiottone. We both chose antipasto dishes. Kim had wild mushroom crepes and I had fresh mozzarella, prosciutto & tomatoes. It was just delicious drenched with balsamic vineagar and oil. I oft times pick up a container of plain fresh mozzarella balls at the grocery store and just dunk them in some balsamic vineagar and salt for a snack. This was way much better.

Prior to eating, we did stop in Gargoyles Gallery . It was open and had an inviting look. It had an eclectic mix of items. They had several trophy cups that caught my eye. Kim was taken by some art by someone she was familiar with and alligator luggage.

We headed back to Dane Decor to check on the status of our pillows. I ran into
Sandy from
Lost & Found. I had met her briefly at the Philly Biz Ladies meeting at Art Star Gallery a few months ago. The Philly Biz Ladies are a younger set of entreprenauers and Sandy and her daughter talked about how they started their business.

Rick De Coyte from Silicon Gallery Fine Art Prints was coming in the door as we were leaving. I said hello, waiting to see if he would remember when Kim and I came to check out their printing services. Took him a minute and then he remembered that I was from Wisconsin.

Well, I took several pictures last night with my new camera. Got to figure how to down load onto the computer and will get some posted later.
