One of the curiouser trouble spots that is chronically trashed is a newspaper honor box (not the Inquirer) outside of the Coach store on Walnut Street. The front glass is missing and for some strange reason, passersby have mistaken this little hole for a waste basket and continuously stuff it with garbage.
It is not entirely neglected. I find it emptied from time to time. But you have to wonder, if the cleaning crews take the trouble to empty it - why don't they just adios the whole thing?
.
Meanwhile - please keep those nominations coming. With photos, if possible!

The latest terrorist bomb attempt in the Haymarket District, City of Westminister, was telecast all over world. What astounded me was how spotless the streets and and sidewalks were of this dense city center in London. I looked hard to see if there one piece of paper..nada !
Philadelphia should only be that trash free...I wonder as Mayor Street sat all day in front of the ATT store to buy his high tech toy if he was in such a clean environment.
