About That Drought ...

In October, the normal rainfall in Philadelphia is 2.75 inches. From Wednesday through Saturday, a four-day period, the official total at Philadelphia International Airport was 2.82 inches.

Generous amounts of rain were widespread, with the heftiest totals north and west of the city. At Valley Forge, 4.04 inches was reported; 4.76, at Doylestown, and 5.74, in Norristown. Here is the rainfall report.

With the airport monthly total at 4.66, that should be it for the October rain, and the weather on Halloween night should be ideal.
