Back to the 50s, Update

As was forecast, yesterday’s high in Philadelphia failed to reach 60, and that was the first time that’s happened since April 26.

The high at International Airport was 57, and can you guess how many degrees below normal yesterday’s temperatures were?

If you know the answer, you peeked. Technically, temperatures for the 24-hour period were ever-so slightly above normal for an Oct. 25.

The high was five degrees below normal, but the low, 51, was six degrees above, making the average 54. The 30-year “normal” is 53.5.
