Rain, Finally

Officially, 0.78 inches of rain fell into the Philadelphia International Airport rain gauge yesterday.

That’s 0.16 inches more than the total rainfall for the previous 48 days in Philadelphia.

Let the cool-down begin, although it will get off to a slow start today with temperatures heading into the upper 70s.

By the weekend, overnight lows in the 40s are expected, with afternoon highs below normal.
