Almanac, Nov. 14

It went all the down to 19 at Philadelphia International Airport on this date in 1986, a daily record.

That also was the earliest ever official reading in the teens in Philadelphia during autumn.

This morning, it’s a good 25 degrees warmer than that, and it should make it into the 60s this afternoon.

A decent cool-down is on the way, however, and the region could see its first snowflakes on Thursday night.
