Two years ago it went all the way up to 76 in Philadelphia, a record for a Nov. 16.
But the warmth was short-lived. The very next day, the official high was 46, a full 30 degrees lower.
December turned out to be wintry, with temperatures better than 3 degrees below normal and more than 6 degrees cooler than January 2006.
