Cold Reality

Evidently we are about to get a real taste of Philadelphia winter.

No, we’re not talking about snow, but cold rain. Snow gets all the attention, but cold rain is more the reality in the cold months.

On average, less than 25 percent of the winter precipitation around here falls as snow.

Periods of cold rain are all but a certainty tonight, with perhaps a half inch by the time it stops. It appears that a modest warm-up will follow.
