Driving Rain

The front plowing through the region has set off some heavy rains, and appears that rain will be around the rest of the morning, based on the radar image.

If you click on the image, that blue stuff you see is snow, a sign that colder air is on the way. In fact, Philadelphia already has reached its high for the day, and temperatures are going to fall this afternoon.

In the meantime, we are experiencing a personal least-favorite for driving conditions, right down there with black ice and freezing rain.

Rain along with drain-clogging and tire-mocking wet leaves make for roadway perils that rival the worst of winter. So watch it out there.
