Some areas north and west of Philadelphia saw their first snowflakes of the season yesterday and this morning, and some saw a whole lot more than that.
Snow fell generously on the Poconos, with 11 inches reported in Blakeslee and Tobyhanna, both in Monroe County.
Closer to the Philadelphia city-sate, in Chester County, Elverson weighed in with 2.5 inches, and East Nantmeal, 2. Six inches was recorded in Springtown, Bucks County.
Here are the updated snow totals from the National Weather Service.
