Snow Threat, Update

Evidently the storm that will affect the region late in the weekend won’t be a major snow-maker, but it could generate Philadelphia’s first measurable snow of the season.

The storm is forecast to pass to the north and west of the region, and since winds circulate counterclockwise around storms, Philadelphia would be on the warm side with winds from the south.

It might be cold enough for snow when the precipitation arrives, but it probably won’t last very long as warm air gets drawn in by the storm.

Naturally, this could all change by morning.
