The meteorological winter begins tomorrow, and it looks like Philadelphia will get its first measurable snow of the season.
You may need a micrometer to measure it, but odds are that some degree of whiteness will cover the ground before the snow or mixed precipitation changes to rain.
In its public statement, the National Weather Service is calling for up to an inch of white stuff before the changeover.
This will not be a big one, unless something goes terribly wrong. The computer models have been consistent in moving the storm north and west of the region, putting Philadelphia on the warm side of the path.
In short, expect schools to be open on Monday.
