Snow Totals

If the forecasters are right, we aren’t going to wake up many mornings to a snow cover, so savor it if it suits your taste.

That said, this won’t be the most snow-less winter in Philadelphia history.

Yesterday, the official Philadelphia snow total was 1.6 inches, vaulted this season past both the winter of 1972-73 – a trace for the entire winter -- and 1997-98 – 0.8 inches.

Contrary to tradition, yesterday’s total were significantly heftier to the south with 4 inches at Wilmington and 4.4 at Atlantic City.

Here are the updated totals.
