Danny DeVito and the cast from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are at Citizens Bank Park this afternoon ... where it's raining. The show is shooting in Philly through June 11.
"It celebrates Philadelphia like no other show," DeVito said.
DeVito and Rob McElhenney, a South Philadelphia native, threw out the first pitch(es). And DeVito got a touch of Philly love when he threw a pitch -- it looked like a splitter -- that bounced about 30 feet in front of home plate.
Boooooooooooooo ...
But it was a warm boo. Not a mean boo.
Big difference.
The crowd cheered DeVito later in the game, however, when he and McElhenney joined the Phanatic and some hula dancers on the Phillies dugout. It was raining at the time, so you have to give them credit for getting out there.

Have you seen this? By the way, talked with somebody today who knows somebody who knows double-A Mississippi manager Phillip Wellman.
