I get the feeling the vote for National League MVP is going to be a lot closer than people think. A lot of people like the numbers Matt Holliday has put up, and Prince Fielder should receive some first-place votes, too. But Jimmy Rollins has put up some historical numbers. He would get my vote.

Anybody notice that we finally got into the playoffs AFTER a minature Billy Penn statue was put on top of the Comcast building?
No SI jink for JRoll, he's too fast for it to catch him.

Oh no! Not an SI cover!!! So now in addition to being sparkplug and MVP, Jimmy has to be a jinx-breaker. I say he's up to it.

Jody Mac on 950AM, had some amazing Home/Away breakdown for Rollins and Holliday. Jimmy is constant both home and away, where Holliday is the opposite, he's great at home and just average on the road. Let's go Jimmy "MVP" Rollins.

Also worth noting - the Billy Penn on City Hall is encompassed by scaffolding now.
