Katherine Hunt:

Jim--I am a mere civilian who has been corresponding with 1st Lt. Kendra Evers for about a year. She wrote to me about your visit, and sent me the link. It was great to see a photo of her working! We send her packages as often as we can (with her favorite cookies, "girly" toiletries, gifts like fancy pencils, wiffle balls, etc., for the orphans), and she writes very newsy and long emails about the work her group does. I feel privileged to be hearing directly from a hardworking young soldier about her work, and am happy you chose to post photos of her. She did mention that you had an audio interview of her posted, but I wasn't able to find it. Is it still available?

Thanks for your work following our young people who are working so hard on behalf of all of us.
