Mr. Wasley,
I am LCPL Mike Zeno's dad. He is a good friend of your boy. I had the pleasure of meeting Johnny when I was at the base before the tour started. Mike and I golfed at the course on the base with Johnny. He is a great young man and I am proud that my boy is serving with him. They both were sworn to watch out for each other and you could tell they were ready to go. When they get back maybe we can all go have a few beers together. Take care and keep proud, as you should. Johnie's "Pawpaw" and I have shared several meals with "Zeno" and we are very impressed with him. Johnie is truly blessed to have Zeno by his side! It is hard to express the changes we have seen in Johnie as he has learned how to be a Marine -- the growth and maturity are evident in all his actions -- well, most all!! We are very proud of all those in 2/6 Golf, especially Johnie. They are in our prayers daily and we look forward to being there when they all come home! "Mawmaw" - Sherry Binkley
