Pheona Murdaugh:

Mr. Spiri,

Sgt. Simmons is my brother, and in an email, he raved about the integrity of your articles regarding the happenings in Iraq. Thank you for sharing the truth, and for providing the opportunity for me to see my brother at work, protecting our country - great picture.

I will continue to pray for your safety as you visit Iraq, as well as all of the soldiers, reporters and innocent lives there.

Regards,
Pheona Murdaugh

Peggy Gray:

Dear Jim,

The above comment is one of the many reasons why I am so proud of what you are you doing in Iraq. Your stories and pictures bring family members closer to their loved ones who are so far away and working in conditions we, in the USA, can't imagine. You help family members understand what their loved ones are doing over there - on a reality basis - and you share wonderful pictures of them with everyone. I feel like I have had an opprotunity to get to know everyone mentioned in your stories/pictures and you have helped to make everyone proud of them and their work over there. I can only imagine when you take your next trip across country - you will have many, many people to visit on your way through the many friendships you have made in Iraq.

I am so proud of you, Candi and Jimmy and everyone else over there. Come home soon. Happy Labor Day!! Love you.

Your little sister,
Peggy Gray
